The Firm of Arenalegal Solicitors is based in Leeds, Yorkshire but covers all over England & Wales.
I am a Senior Solicitor and was a Partner in a large national Law Firm before I set up this Firm in 2003. I called the Firm "Arenalegal" as often Clients would say to me that dealing with Legal problems and Courts was like being in an arena in ancient Rome.
I have acted in many Major High Profile cases including
- Hillsborough Stadium disaster Inquests in 1990-91
- PCA Inquiry, Inquest and Criminal Trial involving the death of Christopher Alder in 1998 in Police Custody in Hull
- Employment Tribunal case for Victimisation to Inspector Fleming in Lincolnshire Police (1995 - 1998)
- International Fraud Investigation regarding Coutts and Co Bank in New York (2000)
- Major Police Investigation regarding Nurse killing patients at Kirklees Hospital (2003 -2005)
- Advised on Operation Aldgate/ Gullane into child abuse investigation at Childrens home in Humberside (2005 -2009)
- Inquest into Prison suicide of Shaun Hazelhurst and Patrick Kilty at HMP Strangeways (2009)
- IPCC Inquiry and Inquest into death of Sean Hardy in Derbyshire (2006-2010)

Whilst I have acted for many Police Clients, I also have acted against the Police for Members of the Public in relation to Police Complaint cases, cases where the Police have been sued for false arrest/ breach of Human Rights and have taken the IPCC to task about the handling of Complaints by Members of the Public.
I have also acted in various Regulatory cases on behalf of Sports Professionals such as Premiership footballers (Chelsea FC and Nottingham Forest FC) and Professional Rugby players, Doctors, Dentists, Lawyers, Company Directors, as well as Police Officers/ Police Support Staff and Professional Drivers who need assistance.
I regularly appear in Courts on Criminal Cases, Employment cases, Cases that proceed to the Administrative Court by way of Judicial Review and also act for the Motorist facing Road Traffic Prosecutions.
